Website and Service Terms
Last updated: 2 November 2026
1. About these terms
GroLo is Robine Stephenson trading as GroLo, ABN 71 293 897 801. Contact [email protected] or 0439 049 056.
These terms explain use of our website and the basis on which we supply services. Browsing the website or requesting a preview does not create a paid service agreement.
Before paid work starts, we will provide the scope, fees, payment timing and relevant service conditions for your acceptance. An agreement is formed when you explicitly accept those details and these terms, and we confirm the order. Any change to scope or fees must be agreed in writing. Agreed project-specific terms take priority over these general terms where they expressly differ, subject to applicable law.
2. Free preview requests
You may request a free concept preview. We review requests and provide previews to selected suitable businesses. A request does not guarantee selection, a delivery date or a finished website. There is no obligation to purchase.
Previews are private concepts for evaluation. They may contain draft copy, illustrative images or placeholder details. They must not be presented as your live website or used commercially unless we agree. You retain rights in material you supplied.
3. GroLo Launch
Unless the accepted scope says otherwise, GroLo Launch includes up to three responsive pages, a basic brand kit, an enquiry/contact form, basic on-page search-engine optimisation, Google Business Profile assistance where eligible, and one consolidated revision round.
The accepted scope identifies the actual pages, functions and deliverables to be supplied. E-commerce, custom applications, extensive copywriting, additional pages, complex integrations and ongoing marketing are not included unless expressly agreed.
Google controls profile eligibility, verification and approval. We cannot guarantee acceptance, search rankings, traffic, enquiries or sales. These limits do not remove our obligation to deliver the agreed work with due care and skill.
4. Customer information and approvals
You agree to provide accurate business information, required content, authorised assets and timely feedback. Tell us any particular purpose or essential requirement before accepting the scope.
You must have permission to use material you supply and to publish any personal information in it. Use a secure agreed method for account access; do not email passwords unnecessarily.
We will give you an opportunity to review the website before publication. Check business facts, contact information, service descriptions, prices and regulated claims. We remain responsible for our own work and legal obligations.
We will publish only after your express approval. Silence is not approval. If your content or feedback is delayed, we will pause and agree a revised schedule. You do not automatically forfeit your payment.
5. Revisions and additional work
One consolidated revision round means one collected set of feedback within the agreed scope. It does not include a new design direction, additional pages or changed functionality, which we will quote separately before doing the work.
Correcting our failure to meet the agreed scope does not count as your revision round. Statutory remedies are not limited by the revision allowance.
6. Fees and payments
All fees are in Australian dollars. GroLo is not currently registered for GST and does not charge GST. We issue invoices for GroLo services.
GroLo Launch is $1,499 total. You pay $749.50 when you accept the scope and terms, and $749.50 after your review and approval, before publication. We begin the paid build once we have received the first payment, the required content and the agreed scope.
Website Care is $49 per month. We will not add charges or enrol you in recurring services without your authorisation.
If our GST status changes, we will explain any proposed effect on future services before you commit. A change does not automatically change an already agreed fixed price.
If a payment is overdue, we will contact you and give reasonable notice and an opportunity to resolve it before suspending affected services. We will explain any likely hosting impact. We will consider a genuine dispute before taking action on the disputed amount.
7. Website Care
Website Care covers hosting and routine technical maintenance for GroLo-built websites. It starts at go-live only with your explicit authorisation. We do not begin recurring charges while your website is still being built.
Care is $49 per month, billed monthly until cancelled, with no minimum term. We will explain your billing date before you subscribe.
Content edits, new pages, redesigns and integrations are quoted separately. Care does not include a monthly edit allowance or unlimited support. We do not promise 24/7 support, uninterrupted availability, a particular backup frequency or a guaranteed recovery time unless specifically agreed.
These scope limits do not exclude responsibility for our own failures or any rights under law.
8. Domains, ownership and platform dependencies
You retain your domain and the content you supply, plus the rights to the agreed paid deliverables described in your scope. Where we assist with a domain, it should be registered in your name or your business's name and remain under your control.
GroLo retains its reusable templates, tools and methods. To the extent these are embedded in your deliverables, we grant the continuing rights needed to use those deliverables for their agreed purpose, subject to disclosed third-party licences and platform requirements.
Third-party software, fonts, images and platform services remain subject to their applicable licences. We will identify material restrictions relevant to your intended use. We do not promise exclusivity in AI-generated or third-party assets.
A website operating in GoHighLevel may depend on its hosting and features. Rights in agreed deliverables do not mean every platform function or editable builder project can be exported, and we do not promise unrestricted source code, free migration or a fully portable website. Before you purchase, we will explain what you can receive, what depends on the platform, what would need to be rebuilt elsewhere, and any migration assistance and separately quoted charges.
9. Cancellation, refunds and ending hosting
You may cancel by emailing us. We will confirm the effective date and any next steps.
If you cancel Launch, we will provide an itemised account of work reasonably completed and approved non-recoverable costs incurred up to cancellation. These amounts will not exceed the agreed project price. We will refund any payment exceeding those amounts. We do not apply a blanket non-refundable deposit.
If we receive your Care cancellation before the next billing date, the next charge stops. Hosting continues through the paid period unless otherwise agreed. No minimum term or cancellation penalty applies. Statutory refund rights are unaffected. No minimum term does not mean free hosting after cancellation.
Before hosting ends, we will explain the practical impact and agree reasonable timing for any transfer assistance. Your site may go offline when hosting ends if replacement arrangements are not in place. Transfer work and charges must be disclosed and agreed before that work starts. We will not hold a customer-owned domain or supplied content hostage over an unrelated disputed charge.
We may end a service for a material breach after reasonable notice and an opportunity to remedy it, unless immediate action is reasonably necessary to address unlawful use or a serious security risk. If we end a service for our convenience, we will give reasonable notice, refund unused prepaid service fees and discuss a reasonable handover.
Nothing in this section limits statutory refund, cancellation or compensation rights.
10. Third-party services and reasonable expectations
Hosting, domains, payment services and Google services may rely on third parties. We will take reasonable care in configuring and supporting the services we agree to provide. We will communicate material issues we become aware of and take reasonable steps within our role to address them.
Your results also depend on factors such as your offer, customer demand, content and search-platform decisions. We do not guarantee commercial results. We do not use third-party involvement as a blanket exclusion of responsibility for our work.
11. Privacy, confidentiality and portfolio use
We handle personal information as described in our Privacy Policy. Each party will take reasonable care with the other's confidential information and use it only for the project or another authorised purpose, except where disclosure is required by law.
We will obtain your permission before identifying you as a customer, publishing a testimonial or featuring your project in our portfolio. Illustrative website examples and generated photographs are not evidence of actual customer work or endorsements.
12. Consumer rights and liability
Services may be covered by guarantees and other protections under the Australian Consumer Law and other applicable laws. Nothing in these terms excludes or restricts a right, guarantee, remedy or liability that cannot lawfully be excluded or restricted.
Where consumer guarantees apply, services must meet the applicable requirements, including due care and skill, fitness for an agreed purpose and delivery within a reasonable time where no time is agreed. You may be entitled to a remedy if those requirements are not met.
We do not impose a blanket exclusion of liability or an automatic cap equal to fees paid. Responsibility for a loss depends on the circumstances, applicable law and each party's contribution to it. Each party should take reasonable steps to avoid or reduce preventable loss.
13. Website use and external links
You may use our website to learn about GroLo and make genuine enquiries. Do not misuse forms, introduce malicious code, attempt unauthorised access or copy material without permission or another lawful basis.
External websites have their own terms and privacy practices. A link does not itself mean we endorse everything on that website.
14. Problems, disputes and changes
Please contact Robine with the issue, relevant details and the outcome you seek. We will consider it in good faith and aim to resolve it promptly. Both parties may agree to mediation. This does not prevent either party seeking urgent relief or using a regulator, tribunal or court available to them.
These terms are governed by Victorian law and applicable Australian law, without limiting any mandatory protections or forum rights available to you elsewhere.
We may update website terms for future use or future purchases. Updates do not retrospectively change an existing service agreement. Material changes to an ongoing service, including fees, require reasonable advance notice and a genuine opportunity to decline and cancel before they take effect, with unused prepaid fees handled as described above or as required by law.
